The Catalunya Convention Bureau (CCB) is the programme established by the Catalan Tourist Board to promote the attractions of Catalonia amongst the meetings, congresses, conventions and incentives tourist sector. The country’s facilities have made Catalonia a leading destination in this sector of the tourist industry.
The CCB is the Catalan Tourist Board’s interlocutor between the organisers of meetings, congresses, conventions and incentives and Catalan companies that provide facilities, products, venues and services to stage any activity related to meetings tourism.
Moreover, forming part of the Catalan Tourist Board stand, the CCB and its members are present at the leading specialised fairs and shows in this sector in Europe, such as EIBTM in Barcelona and IMEX in Frankfurt. The CCB also organises presentations, trade visits, fam trips and workshops aimed at promoting the facilities for meetings available in Catalonia and at establishing business links between Catalan companies and national and international events organisers.
The CCB is a member of the following associations: ECM, MPI, ICCA, SITE, ANAÉ and Club Eventoplus.
The CCB has organized and segmentized the existing facilities throw two projects: Catalonia Congresses and Catalonia Conventions, Incentives and Events.
