Charm Project

Immersive experiences in European Charming Villages

Led by the Catalan Tourist Board (CTB), the European CHARM project will implement a transnational route of 10 charming villages in 6 different countries, with more than 70 new tourism products and activities; an exciting way to explore and unveil the cultural and natural heritage of rural Europe.

The overall objective of the project is to position Europe internationally as an integral destination of quality and excellence for cultural tourism, promoting its rural villages with more charm and taking advantage of the technologies of cultural and creative industries to provide an unforgettable experience to visitors.

CTB has 6 more partners:

  • Turismo Vivencial (TUVI)
  • Tradições d’Outrora (TDO-PORTGALL)
  • Institut für Tourismus-und Bäderforschung in Nordeuropa gmbh (NIT)
  • Tour Guide Fox (TGF)
  • Software Engineering Italia – SWING:IT (SE IT)
  • Network of European Regions for a Sustainable and Competitive Tourism (NECSTouR)

The CHARM project has a global budget of 533,280 euros and is co-financed at 75% by the European COSME program for the competitiveness of companies and SMEs, through its 2018 call.
