Vueling was founded in July 2004 with an initial fleet of two Airbus A320 planes serving four routes and with the aim of providing excellent customer service at a competitive price.
Nine years later, Vueling operates a total of 185 routes at 96 cities throughout Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Today, the airline has 13 operational bases and has carried more than 50 million passengers. Vueling is the leading carrier at Barcelona – El Prat International Airport, where the airline expects to reach 100 direct destinations in the coming summer season.
