Grand Tour of Catalonia

The Grand Tour of Catalonia is a route to get to know, discover, live, taste and enjoy Catalonia by vehicle.

A circular road trip to discover the essence of Catalonia: it connects cultural icons, natural landscapes and gastronomic pleasures that define the personality of this land, both in rural and urban environments. A trip and many trips at once because each traveler can organize it to their liking, can travel it at their own pace, at any time of the year, and choose from a wide range of different experiences to do.

This is a tourist product in route format to travel throughout Catalonia by vehicle and over several days, discovering its main heritage, natural and gastronomic attractions, as well as getting to know its people, their customs and their traditions.

In addition, it responds to the commitment to sustainability of the Catalan Tourism Agency (ACT) and which consists of promoting tourism distributed in a balanced way throughout the territory, diversified, of quality and that allows you to discover the destination throughout the year.

It is also a tool for boosting the tourism sector, the result of a cooperative development task. The ACT, the General Directorate of Tourism, which includes the Network of Tourism Offices of Catalonia, and the different tourism boards of the Provincial Councils of Barcelona, ​​Tarragona, Lleida and Girona, as well as Foment Torisme Val d’Aran and Turisme de Barcelona, ​​have worked together on the project.
